Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Lucky Number work?
The Lucky Number is drawn in a separate drum containing the numbers 1 to 10. It is independent of the 5 main numbers. It occurs in several ranks: rank 1 (jackpot, 5 + Luck), rank 3 (4 + Luck), rank 5 (3 + Luck), rank 7 (2 + Luck) and rank 9 (Luck only).
What is the “Second draw”?
The Second Draw is an automatic additional draw included in each grid. The 5 non-winning numbers from your main grid automatically participate in a second drawing the same evening. Additional prizes are at stake.
What is the maximum jackpot in France Loto?
There is no official cap on the jackpot. In theory, it can keep rolling over if there is no winner. In practice, FDJ may apply a mandatory payout rule after several weeks without a winner, redistributing the jackpot to lower prize tiers.
