Frequently Asked Questions
How do Euro Numbers work in EuroJackpot?
Euro Numbers are 2 balls drawn from a completely separate pool of 12 balls (numbered 1–12), independently from the 5 main numbers. You pick 2 Euro Numbers on your ticket. Unlike EuroMillions' Lucky Stars, the EuroJackpot Euro Numbers do not generate a prize for matching only 2 main numbers without any Euro Number.
Why does EuroJackpot have 12 tiers while EuroMillions has 13?
EuroJackpot does not award a prize for matching 2 main numbers with 0 Euro Numbers. EuroMillions includes this as Tier 13 (approximately 1 in 22 odds). As a result, EuroJackpot's overall odds of winning any prize are lower (approximately 1 in 32) compared to EuroMillions (approximately 1 in 13).
Which countries participate in EuroJackpot?
EuroJackpot is available in Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Note that France, Ireland and the UK play EuroMillions instead.
